Introducing the Barista Gouda with Coffee, a collaboration between cheesemaker Groendal (the makers of OG Kristal) and their local coffee roasters Viva Sara. Ground coffee from the final roasting of Viva Sara's coffee is patted onto the surface and a thin layer added in the middle.
The coffee infuses a smooth dark caramel flavour throughout the creamy cheese, giving it subtle coffee notes and a remarkable black-brown natural rind.
