An unusual cheese, Prima Donna Maturo is brilliant cross between an aged gouda and an Italian Parmigiano Reggiano. The flavour is slightly biased towards Parmigiano but still with caramel notes so characteristic of aged Goudas. The texture is pure Gouda, however, being semi-hard and with a distinctive salty crunch. A modern classic and easily our most addictive cheese. Be warned! Equally at home on a cheese platter or cooking with pasta, risotto or a melted toastie.
