A Dutch Gouda with a twist! Inspired by his trip to Italy, a Gouda producer created his first Prima Donna by adding starter culture traditionally used in Northern Italy.
Prima Donna has a balanced combination of both caramel and savoury notes. The texture is smooth and firm with pockets of protein crystals. The balanced notes make it a great addition on a cheeseboard and can also be used for cooking.
