Wine descriptionIn the Spring of the year 2000, guided by a shared passion for the region, Danièle Vialard of Chateau Cissac and Eric Hosteins CEO of Maison Louis Vialard travelled the legendary terroir of Aniane in the Hérault department in the South of France and found Domaine de Saint Dominique. The Saint Dominique Estate's vineyard stretches across 14 hectares, located in a choice position. It is also bounded by the flagships of local viticulture: the Mas Daumas-Gassac, the Domaine de la Grange des Pères and the Château Capion. Produced from 50% Syrah 30% Cabernet Sauvignon 10% Petit Verdot 10% Merlot, this wine displays lots of ripe blackcurrant red cherries with notes of cedar and black pepper. In the mouth the wine is medium to full bodied, very fruity with lots of dark fruits and soft nicely rounded tannins.
