Wine description: Perfectly located at the top of a chalky plateau in Bordeaux Cotes de Castillon, this is a relatively new wine from Nicolas Thienpont and it admirably reflects the finesse of the terroir, making a fine addition to the Thienpont collection. Produced with 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc, exhibiting rich, jammy dark berry fruits, a medium to full body with ripe smooth tannins with hints of liquorice in the long elegant finish.
